A day to celebrate the International Year Of Glass

The Day of Glass in Trento

Welcome to The Day of Glass in Trento

David L. Morse and Jeffrey W. Evenson published in 2016 the paper “Welcome to the Glass Age”.

In 2021 the General Assembly of the United Nations has proclaimed 2022 as the International Year of Glass.

Several events are organized in the world to celebrate this Year. In Trento, a series of lectures is organized between March and May 2022.

We continue on this way with the Day of Glass in Trento.

The idea is to have a day when we can discuss about glass in a multidisciplinary environment and how pervasive is the role of the glass in our society.
